Play Cafe is our love letter to the parents of Mountlake Terrace.

As parents ourselves, we’ve noticed how easy it is to end up staying home with our kids all day long. Not because we want to, but because most of our world isn’t designed with children in mind, and the places that are tend to be weather-dependent or come with a hefty cost of entry.

At the beginning of 2026, our church took on a big initiative to remake our kids’ wing into a place of fun, beauty, safety, and engagement. Our focus was to design a space kid’s actually want to be in.

It felt like a shame for all that work to only be used on Sundays.

So for $0, from 10–12 on Tuesdays, bring your kids, grab a latte at our coffee shop, and use our space to play, connect with your neighbors, and enjoy the peace of knowing you’re in a place where your whole family belongs.
