Welcome to
Mountlake Kids

“Our heart here at Mountlake Kids is to display God’s goodness to the children. Psalm 34:8 says, "taste and see that the Lord is good.” If we give children a taste of God’s goodness, they will pursue it for the rest of their lives. We long to see children grow into life-long followers of Jesus.

Each week we aim to sow the teachings and ways of Jesus in young hearts and watch them grow in community with each other and their leaders.”

WHAT TO EXPECT WHEN YOU VISIT

WHEN YOU ARRIVE

We have two gatherings at Mountlake Church: one at 9am and another at 11am.

Our friendly welcome team will be ready to guide you to our kids’ wing. If you’ve pre-registered, simply head to one of our check-in stations, enter your phone number, and check your kids into their classes (the link to do that is above). You’ll receive name tags for them and a security tag for your family.

If you haven’t registered yet, don’t worry!
Our team in the kids' wing will be happy to help you get set up

KIDS IN WORSHIP

At Mountlake Church, we firmly believe that worship is for the whole family, not just the adults. To accommodate this we have structured our worship gathering to include kids! After check-in, worship and prayer, kids are dismissed to the front of the stage to join their leaders and go to class.

Classrooms for ages 0-3 are open for the entire gathering for families who choose to drop off their littles early.

What We’re Learning

We’re incredibly stoked to be using The Biggest Story by Crossway as we walk our kids through God’s Word. It’s rare to find biblical content that treats kids as intelligent, stays rooted in the gospel, and actually looks awesome—but the Biggest Story team really nailed it.

If you want to follow along at home with what we’re teaching in Mountlake Kids, you can grab TBS resources in the bookstore or check out more about the project at the link below.

Serious growth. Serious fun.

“Let the children come to me, and do not hinder them, for to such belongs the kingdom of God.”

Luke 18v16

We are a place of love and belonging. From the moment that we check your children into their secure classrooms, they will be enveloped into the loving arms of Jesus. We want your children to learn about the teachings and ways of Jesus, not just through a Bible lesson, but through our relationships with them and their belonging to the body of Christ.
