Sabbatical 2025

What is a sabbatical?

A sabbatical is a biblical and historical practice where ministry leaders take intentional time away from their regular duties to rest, reflect, and be renewed by God.
For us, it's not a vacation—it’s a time of deep spiritual renewal that prepares our leaders for the long haul of ministry.

The Taylors’ Sabbatical

From June 1 to September 7, Riley and his family will step away from all ministry responsibilities. This time will be focused on rest, family, spiritual renewal, and dreaming with God about the future of our church.

They’ll mostly remain local but will be stepping away from Sunday gatherings, staff meetings, and email. If you happen to see them, feel free to say hello—but resist the urge to talk church! The best gift we can give them is space to rest.

Who will lead during this time?

The Leadership Team

Benjamin and Angelina will lead the church together throughout the Taylors’ sabbatical.

Benjamin Finley | Executive Pastor
Will be overseeing the staff, elders, board, and pastoral ministries.

Angelina Davis | Director of Operations
Will be primarily overseeing the day-to-day staff operations and the Sunday gatherings.

Elders and Staff

Our Elders
Our elders are overseeing the teaching series this summer and continuing to offer spiritual guidance and support to our leaders and congregation under the leadership of the Executive Pastor.

Staff
Each ministry is being led with care by our staff team. They continue to serve faithfully and prayerfully in their areas of responsibility under the leadership of the Operations Director.
